Why do plants need fertilisers?
Fertilizing plant beds not only ensures more growth and flowering, but also strengthens the plants against pests and diseases. Therefore, you should plan a first fertiliser application in spring, followed by a second maintenance fertilization a little later in the season. This way, you will enjoy beautiful flowers and sturdy plants all season long.
Why use DCM fertilisers?
There are many different types of fertiliser available, in various forms. The great advantage of DCM fertilisers is that their organically bound nutrients are gradually released according to the plant’s needs. This means that the plants receive the right nutrition during a period of more than 100 days enabling steady growth without risk of burning and with minimal nutrient losses due to leaching. Moreover, the organic matter in these fertilisers is converted into humus by the soil life. Humus contributes to a crumbly soil structure and a good balance between air and moisture in the soil. This enables smooth rooting and promotes the development of soil life.
